What the role is:You will play an important role in safeguarding patient safety and public interest through (i) robust licensing, inspection and audit of healthcare institutions in the nursing home and long-term care sector regulated under the Private Hospitals & Medical Clinics Act (PHMCA) and the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA); and (ii) inspection and audit of subvented centre-based care and home care providers. You will also assist in the review, development and operationalisation of standards and guidelines for emerging models of care in the long-term care sector, as well as the coordination of the compliance management and enforcement activities. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.What you will be working on:You will be required to: 1. Inspect and assess nursing homes and other licensable long-term care service providers for compliance with prescribed requirements under the relevant laws. 2. Oversee and manage the service audits of subvented centre-based care and home care service providers to ensure that they comply with the Service Requirements under the Medical and Elderly Care Endowment Schemes Act. 3. Conduct reviews and respond to feedback and complaints against PHMCA and HCSA licensable healthcare institutions (nursing homes and other long-term care service providers). 4. Support in the ongoing review of regulatory standards and process improvement activities.What we are looking for:
