Reporting to the General Manager, you will be accountable for all retail leasing functions of various shopping malls.
Responsibilities:
Develop and drive leasing business plan and strategy and conceptualize/review of trade and tenant mix
Accountable for the full spectrum of lease management operations
Maximise rental income and occupancy of the retail properties in the portfolio
Review and meet mall’s annual rental budgets
Review and analyse tenants’ trading performance across malls and within properties
Track the lease renewals and leasing progress
Engage with Key tenants on lease renewals negotiation
Oversee the Leasing team by guiding and driving team members to perform all leasing activities from sourcing of new concepts/prospects relevant to mall’s positioning to securing new tenants
Provide strategic advice as part of the management team and business support to the business units
Establish strong and collaborative landlord-tenants relationships
Requirements:
Degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
Minimally 8-10 years of retail and commercial leasing experience and at least 5 years of team lead experience
Proven track record in retail leasing with good network of tenants and contacts
Good understanding of the retail industry and trend
Excellent analytical, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
Driven, highly motivated by success and independent, assertive, diligent and able to handle work pressure well
Those who are registered as Salesperson with CEA will have an advantage
