What the role is
The Ministry of Health is at the forefront of the nation’s response to COVID-19. In support of Singapore’s COVID-19 operations, we are looking for dedicated individuals to be part of the Operations Services team in MOH’s Crisis Strategy and Operations Group (CSOG) to provide responsive infrastructure and logistic support to the taskforces/task groups through sourcing, allocation and close coordination with MOH’s Corporate Services Division as well as the external vendors to manage logistic action plans to sustain operation outcomes. You will be working in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
What you will be working on
You will be part of the Operations Services team to support the following functions: Infrastructure Planning • Assist in the coordination with CSOG HQ, taskforces and task groups to determine the current and projected CSOG infrastructure requirements under various ops scenarios. • Assist in the planning and allocation of space to meet the needs of all CSOG officers. • Assist in the maintenance of CSOG infrastructure and equipment. • Assist in the set-up of new offices with all the necessary furniture and equipment by gathering requirements across CSOG and working closely with Corporate Services Division. Office Equipment and Operations Support Administration • Serve as the point of contact for all requests regarding logistic, common good and services support; and ensure timely management till last-mile delivering of services, partner closely with Corporate Services Division. • Work closely with the relevant divisions to support CSOG HQ, taskforces and task groups’ common goods and services for operation sustenance needs. • Review and prepare approval of requirements along with budgeting, in accordance with established procurement guidelines. Workplace, Safety and Health • Ensure the latest updates/ guidelines on workplace security and safety instructions are disseminated to CSOG officers timely and that the wardens’ lists are accurately updated. • Coordinate the procurement, distribution, maintenance of logistic, common good and services support. • Conduct routine and adhoc workspace security and safety inspections according to the schedule given by Corporate Services Division.
What we are looking for
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS • Tertiary Education in Logistics, Business, or related field of study. • Logistics and Project Management Professional Certification preferred. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & BEHAVIOURS • Able to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic and fast paced environment. • Good writing, communications and interpersonal skills • Good resource management skills • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team • Able to determine priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure • Prepared to work beyond shift hours including weekends and public holiday when required.
