What the role is: xe2x80xa2 The role involves supporting and guiding departments with their procurement transactions. This includes managing the department's stakeholders and undertaking early and close partnership of the end-to-end procurement process including contract management. In addition, the job holder is required to undertake work improvement projects and initiatives to strengthen risk governance.What you will be working on:What you will be working on: xe2x80xa2 Guide department users in Procurement with end-to-end solutions based on established guidelines and procedures. xe2x80xa2 Develop, revise and improve on work processes to improve overall efficiency of Procurement functions. xe2x80xa2 Ensure that the departments under her/his charge administer all procurement processes and procedures in accordance with the Instruction Manual on Procurement. xe2x80xa2 Work closely as a strategic business partner with project teams to prepare the necessary documents, provide guidance for the evaluation process and partner contract owners to monitor awarded vendor and contract performance. xe2x80xa2 Partner departments for holistic solutioning, including adopting and adapting to new technologies such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, etc. xe2x80xa2 Equip with effective stakeholder engagement, data-mining and strategic thinking skills, in addition to Procurement proficiency. xe2x80xa2 Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.What we are looking for:What we are looking for: xe2x80xa2 Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience with handling construction related project tenders and/or revenue contracting would be an added advantage. xe2x80xa2 Possess tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Business Management preferred. xe2x80xa2 Possess a depth of knowledge and relevant experience in handling complex procurement matters. xe2x80xa2 A good knowledge of IM on Procurement and GeBIZ would be advantage. xe2x80xa2 Able to handle end users professionally, work independently and be efficient with a strong customer service mindset. xe2x80xa2 Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines. xe2x80xa2 Possess an inquisitive mind, meticulous in details and a good team player. xe2x80xa2 Good written, communication, presentation and IT skills are essential.About Ministry of Manpower:The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) aims to develop a productive workforce and progressive workplaces, for Singaporeans to have better jobs and a secure retirement.
