Job Description


What the role is:You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time. You will be facilitating and coordinating in multi-stakeholder projects to achieve the triple aims of uplifting the sector, improve cybersecurity resilience locally, and provision of safe and effective patient care in the \'Internet of Medical Things\' (IoMT) or medical devices domain. You will also support the Division regulatory transformation efforts through policy design and implementation.What you will be working on:You will formulate, operationalise and regularly review the cybersecurity framework for medical devices and IoMT, comprising end-to-end initiatives relating to the manufacturing, registration, procurement, use and decommissioning of the medical devices, undergirded by cohesive overarching policies and governance; and drive engagement with stakeholders towards triple aims. You will also facilitate capacity building within the Health Regulation Group to ensure officers properly re-skilled in tandem with changing regulatory regimes. For both portfolios, you will be expected to engage various stakeholders\' in the public and private sector extensively to ensure crucial buy-in and hence successful implementation of the initiatives.What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary education in any discipline, preferably in medical or healthcare-related degree \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong interest in the area of medical IT or cybersecurity. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong stakeholder management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possesses an independent, objective and inquisitive mind. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work independently and in a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possess high standards of professionalism, personal discipline and integrity. \xe2\x80\xa2 The following candidates will have a competitive edge: o Education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent. o Working experience in of IT security experience, preferably in the area of application and/or architecture. o Working experience in organisation development. o Working experience in cyber and technology risk policies. o Candidates with ITIL, CISA, CISM, CISSP or similar certifications Key Competencies Require \xe2\x80\xa2 Thinking Clearly & Making Sound Judgements - Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to support the crafting of sound policy recommendations; ability to grasp timelines, operating context and ground realities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Learning & Putting Skills into Action - Possesses the drive and curiosity to learn and apply new skills, knowledge and new ways of working. \xe2\x80\xa2 Improving & Innovating - Ability to seek continual improvements, and to innovate and experiment while managing the risks involved. \xe2\x80\xa2 Working Effectively with Stakeholders - Ability to mobilise and rally partners and stakeholders towards a collective purpose.
