Job purpose

The Corporate Communications and Distribution Marketing Manager is responsible for end-to-end marketing with strong emphasis on thought leadership, internal and external communications, distribution marketing, and leading a small team of marketers. This is a leadership role and the Corporate Communications and Distribution Marketing Manager is expected to support the development and drive the execution of marketing strategy and brand plans to build brand awareness and product desirability across Singapore. The role will support our products\xe2\x80\x99 go to market strategies in partnership with the Singapore product teams and wider marketing team.

The role will be tasked to achieve business results through operational excellence and partnership with cross functional, regional and global colleagues.

The role requires business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-customer (DTC) strategy and communications experience to drive sales growth.

Reporting to the Regional CMO, candidates should have a strategic mindset, ability to collaborate with the wider business and other matrix partners, ability to execute on tactics that bring strategy to market, thrive in a busy, forward-looking environment, embed themselves in integrity, and be a consummate team-player.

Main Duties/ Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive and optimized marketing plans for the Cigna Singapore business that encompasses B2B, DTC and internal audiences

Working closely with our Sales, Client Management, Product Development, Strategy teams based in Singapore and our Regional and Global COE functions, determine business objectives and strategy for delivering product and distribution marketing communications plans

With the business, seek out and take advantage of opportunities which support business growth and development through B2B and DTC marketing channels

Localize the global Thought Leadership initiatives to meet local needs, and develop customized, new thought leadership content that showcases Cigna\xe2\x80\x99s expertise and focus on health across Singapore and the region

Provide expert advice and guidance to all areas of the business on marketing and communications best practice to develop the organization\'s communications and marketing capabilities

Lead marketing team based in Singapore on campaign tests, development and execution of campaigns including eDMs, Social, and other

Constantly review communication channels to ensure they are effectively delivering product messages

Monitor return on investment of all marketing activity to ensure a positive return

Understand competitive environment, including emerging solutions, and work to differentiate Cigna solutions, as well as identifying opportunities for innovation

Train and develop a team of marketers based in Singapore

Demonstrate Cigna values, including teamwork and enterprise view, and drive a high performance culture

Other assignments as necessary to deliver on Cigna\'s marketing goals

Education/ Professional Qualifications/ Experience Required

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree

7+ years of marketing or marketing communications experience in both a business to business and direct to consumer setting

Healthcare, insurance or financial services industry experience strongly preferred

Experience executing strategy and tactics within time, budget and quality standards

Skills and attributes

Deep understanding of marketing strategy and approach, leverage data and insights to inform strategy and recommended approach, link business need to action

Ability to take a project from strategy to delivery of tactics in market

Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment across multiple functions and in support of diverse buying groups and geographies

Critical thinker and creative problem solver, who exercises good judgment in resolving difficult situations, prioritizes and can balance needs with enterprise objectives

Able to juggle priorities and work under pressure to meet competing tight deadlines.
