Team Lead for the S4Hana Master Data (Customer and Vendor) Team

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Key representative of the Master Data Team for finance related projects/ Lead cross functional projects
• Carry out the UAT activities and troubleshooting for system implementation/ enhancements
• Work closely with IT team for resolution of interface issues
• Team lead of the Master Data team, guide and mentor the team members
• Update of the relevant Policy and Procedures for any changes of the process
• Provide advice and support on Master Data processes to all Units of the University
• Provide guidance and leadership to the team members in problem solving
• Support the internal controls testing of the Master Data processes and ensure compliance of Risk Control Matrix (RCM)
• Liaise with external and internal auditors on Master Data related matters
• Support the university on initiatives in Organisational Excellence (OE) journey
• Drive process improvement
• Back up for the University Compliance and Governance matters

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong process improvement mindset
• Preferably with 7 years or more of experience
• Meticulous and excellent attention to details
• Preferably with experience in SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong problem solver
• Strong Team Leader
• Strong ability to drive process improvement
