Get to know the Role: Reporting to the Head of Business IT Solutions, Grab is looking for People Systems leader that has in-depth knowledge in people operations systems landscape. The Day-to-Day Activities:

  • Implement and support HCM/HRIS to realize People Operations (Pops) and Grab's strategic goals
  • Co-create business & technology roadmaps with Pops & GTS leadership, and manage resource allocation (budgets & team) to execute on vision
  • Drive stakeholder engagement together with Business Partners for Pops and GTS, to identify technology capabilities in relation to current and future business objectives, that reflects the business strategies and goals.
  • Engage with other technology organizations (e.g. Finance Systems, Integrations etc) to align on technology roadmap and integrations
  • Manage discussions with various levels of customer’s business stakeholders .
  • Lead a team of 25+ internal & external Workday and other HRIS specialists spread across Malaysia, Philippines & Singapore.
  • Must have strong solution design and architecture experience in the HCM/HRIS platforms and lead the discussions, presentations and training(s) with all project stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the HCM/HRIS platform and product s.
  • Provide a detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, pick up new skills quickly, and propose highly innovative solutions to unprecedented problems.
  • Ability to identify bottleneck issues in systems/designs and propose innovative solutions to solve them.
The Must-Haves:
  • Strong foundation in HCM/HRIS platforms and processes, preferably Workday and/or in other HR platforms is highly desired
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders to co-create
  • long-term business & technology roadmaps and improve engagement models
  • A passion for motivating, developing and mentoring internal & external teams; strong in hiring, team building and organizational development
  • Experience managing budgets & vendor commercial negotiations
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally with other departments, primarily Talent Acquisition, Legal and Finance
  • Ability to write and communicate verbally in an effective and compelling manner
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize actions
  • Customer-focused mindset; always looking to outserve Grabbers with creative solutions and innovative ideas
