Objectives of the Position

Reporting to Head of Business Management, you will serve as the Regional Controller for 7 emerging countries in APAC, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka.

You will be the business partner to the regional business management team and Countries\' Managing Director, supporting to define business strategies, steer business targets, and create transparency of business performances. You will lead the finance and controlling teams in countries and develop their competencies to support the business needs. In addition, you will act as Board member of the countries\' legal entities.

Main Tasks

• Major business partner for Head of Business Management and regional team (such as support in developing KPIs, providing data for strategic dialogues, contact person for controlling related requests, regional cost charge out etc.)
• Further development and implementation of regional KPIs e. g. relative KPIs, relative Sales Incentive Programs (SIP) etc.
• Support Regional Human Resources Business Partner in implementation and further development of SIP, such as yearly check of eligibility of salesperson, support calculation for special cases etc.
• Monthly reporting towards Head of Business Management, Country Managing Directors and Regional President
• Lead yearly operational planning for local countries
• Steer and further develop country controller community (such as monthly meeting, best practice sharing, upskilling)
• Create transparency and actively drive measures to improve margin, fixed cost or working capital performance
• Support country controllers in business cases and investment evaluations
• Focal point for Asia controlling community and Business Unit controlling on all regional controlling-related requests
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager

Requirements

• Degree, or equivalent, in Business Administration or Accounting
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in operational controlling
• Working experience with business plans, evaluation of investment projects and reporting
• Good knowledge of business processes (e.g. supply chain, business models etc.)
• Deep experience and understanding of finance and business management in domains across risk management, operations, structuring or asset management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and teaming skills
• Highly organized with demonstrated project management experience
