Role Summary

This role has predominantly a dual functional role; one as Business HR Partner for ENGIE SEA Regional Management Office and the other role cover regional responsibilities of cooperation and collaborating with various regional entities and respective Business HR Partner on implementation of HR key strategies, performance targets, reporting and projects across the ENGIE SEA clusters in APAC, including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and China.

Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing

  • Manpower planning and staff cost budgeting
  • End to end Talent Acquisitions from approval, sourcing, offer till onboarding in timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with relevant immigration and work pass application process and requirement for hiring of foreign talent and interns
  • Conduct shortlist, interview and preparation of salary proposal and job offer
  • In charge of staff onboarding and orientation, including buddy and mandatory essential trainings.
Talent Management
  • Conduct annual talent, key position and people identification and review exercise for endorsement, development intervention and succession planning across all entities under ENGIE SEA cluster
  • Work collaboratively with business leaders, ENGIE AMEA HR and ENGIE Group on Talent Development Programs and implementation
  • Periodic review and engagement with talents and key people for dialogue, for feedback and status update
Compensation & Benefits
  • Work with head of Total Rewards on harmonization and alignment of policies, procedures, schemes and programs where appropriate
  • Work with business leaders and HR Business Partners on annual remuneration review and bonus/promotion exercise
  • Conduct salary & benefits review and market benchmark to ensure competitiveness of our salary and reward schemes and table for management approval
  • Yearly budget and forecast of budgets and expenditures.
Performance Management
  • Oversee annual and ad hoc performance management including goal settings, appraisals, learning & career developments. Ensure timely completion of the processes for employment and project completion
  • Assist career planning and development advisory for line managers and staff to ensure progressive capability and competency building, continual learning and development, and talent development and retention. This also include advisory on performance improvement plan where applicable
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development Manager training needs and development intervention on skill gaps and building skills inventory for key competencies and capabilities


Employee Engagement and Communication
  • Implementation of ENGIE & ME Employee Survey project in collaboration with ENGIE AMEA HR Hub and ENGIE Group
  • Analyse survey results, conduct Focus Group study and collate action plans at entity and regional level for implementation
HR Policies, Procedures & Reporting
  • Implementation of ENGIE & ME Employee Survey project in collaboration with ENGIE AMEA HR Hub and ENGIE Group
  • Preparation and collation of monthly and quarterly HR reports, ad hoc management reports, key initiatives status report etc. locally and regionally
  • Business HR role to advice users on functionalities, process workflow, and features
  • Confirm data accuracy, performs group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups, and reports on any data discrepancies


Ethics and Health, Safety & Environment
  • Ensure adherence to the ENGIE Ethics Charter, Code of Business Conduct, company policies and procedures by reporting and assisting in investigating potential violations and advising management on consistently maintaining the highest ethical standards and minimizing exposure to liability or risk to the company\'s reputation
  • Participate in Managerial Safety Visit at sites and strengthening our workplace safety culture.
  • Ensure all HR administration for the region is in accordance with procedure and due process is followed
Requirements
  • Master/Bachelor\'s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent.
  • At least 10-15 years of relevant working experience in regional HR capacity.
  • Solid knowledge of local labor legislation and practices of Singapore, with prior experience managing regional markets of Southeast Asia employment landscape, local regulations and labour law practices preferred
  • Strong business HR partnership portfolio and track record, good stakeholder management handling senior leadership, professional executives and project and operational working staffs
  • Preferably with experience in project leadership, change management and using SAP HRIS system at global system
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels while maintaining string ethics and professionalism.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to drive and influence change management.
