Role Responsibilities The role holder will support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in delivering the Specialised Finance Credit Risk agenda ensuring that the CCO Specialised Finance strategy and objectives are defined and being effectively delive Role Responsibilities The role holder will support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in delivering the Specialised Finance Credit Risk agenda ensuring that the CCO Specialised Finance strategy and objectives are defined and being effectively delivered, with day-to-day responsibility for business management activities as well as a key role in supporting relevant governance & control processes. Strategy & Target Operating Model Support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in the oversight of the delivery agenda across Specialised Finance Credit Risk function. Support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in implementation of Specialised Finance Credit Risk function target operating model and that changes to people, policy, processes, technology and governance are managed effectively and imbedded appropriately into BAU. Coordinate effective communication, both internally and externally, on Specialised Finance Credit Risk function capabilities and progress on deliverables. Business Awareness of Specialised Finance Credit Risk function core deliverables including current Credit Risk decisioning activity and future planned business and risk strategy. Good understanding of Specialised Finance business needs including expectations from 1LOD and Regulators as well as internal Risk requirements. Processes Act as secretariat to Specialised Finance Credit Risk function MT meetings when required and proactively manage action items arising. Support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA&rsquos) in place where necessary, particularly as the build out of our offshore locations progresses. Support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in tracking of headcount, FTE and costs, owning the monthly process to monitor this. Support the Group CCO Specialised Finance in ensuring alignment and compliance to latest Credit Risk Policies. Risk Management Proactively scan the Specialised Finance Credit Risk function landscape and assist in identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group that come from key activities undertaken by Specialised Finance. Governance Proactively drive the management of audit, both internal and external, and residual risk commitments assigned to Specialised Finance Credit Risk function. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure audit commitments are met and comprehensive regular updates provided. Support ensuring adherence by Specialised Finance Credit Risk function to Operational Risk Framework and support the design and testing of key controls. Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct. Our Ideal Candidate 10 or more years of experience in the banking industry, including in governance and project management roles. Desirable to have the Core Credit Curriculum training for this role Awareness and understanding of regulatory framework in which the bank operates Role Specific Technical Competencies Credit risk processes and governance activities Communication and project management skills. Focus on quality control and attention to detail.
