Responsibilities

  • Leadership role in driving technology insertion into the site, managing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs in terms of industrialization of the repairs and spearhead PW Transformation on cost saving initiatives for the site
  • Chairperson of Technology Council, working with a cross-functional team to drive advanced repair, advanced inspection, automation and digital transformation into the site
  • Manage and spearhead Geared Turbofan (GTF) industrialization program along with any new potential products, by engaging engineering team, manage and identifying budget, capital investment and tracking development of products
  • Provide strategic outlook on growth opportunities relative to new product expansion, collaborating with sales and customer service to increase market share on air-foil repair globally
  • Spearhead Pratt & Whitney Transformation for the site on cost saving initiatives to achieve annual targets, with regularly monitoring and ensuring initiatives are current and on track
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver agile solution strategies and fit-for-purpose digital solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Close collaboration with all levels of management, personnel (including global SMEs) and AMO Singapore Technology Accelerator (APAC) to align and implement read-across projects.
  • Maintaining an inventory of current technology offerings and evaluating emerging technology solutions to identify which solutions may be most beneficial to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s long-term goals
  • Managing project budget, delivery and SLAs (service level agreement) to develop POC and production ready solutions
  • Creating a culture of innovation within the organization by encouraging employees to think outside the box and embrace new technologies
  • Drive and support CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) projects to achieve business and enterprise objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering, or relevant technically related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in MRO engineering, manufacturing, operations, and continuous improvement.
  • Proven experience in developing strategies and setting up and executing transformation initiatives in technology insertion and/or new product development.
  • Possess strong knowledge in aerospace product repair
  • Project management experience and driving change management.
  • Strong influencing skills, business discernment to anticipate what\xe2\x80\x99s next, and ability to innovate.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills and demonstrated industry insight.
  • Demonstrated the ability to understand complex systems and environments to make best recommendations.
  • ACE/CORE Accreditation and or LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt and a passion for process improvement and alignment
  • Technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney\xe2\x80\x99s Engines Repair, PW Repair Centers, and PW Engine Services business is a plus.
  • Proven Cybersecurity and compliance mindset.
  • Relevant scripting knowledge or programming skill is a plus.
