Responsibilities

As the lead for the Talent Acquisition team, you will be responsible for meeting the Talent Acquisition needs of the Singapore Business Unit (SG BU), managing a team of two recruiters.

Key Deliverables

  • Formulate the Talent Acquisition strategy for SG BU, leveraging best practices with intention of offering value adding hiring solutions and strong candidate experience.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to effectively source, recruit, evaluate, interview, and select top talent to meet SG BU's staffing needs.
  • Assess talent and generate qualified candidates through cost effective efforts in a timely manner.
  • Continually improve plans, programs and processes to reduce cost, increase value, and promote highly effective recruiting support to internal clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition Team and ensure all recruitment responsibilities are being completed effectively and as per agreed timelines.
  • Lead and drive the employer branding efforts through active participation in various programs and initiatives with IHL (Institute of Higher Learning) and government agencies, eg internships, work-study program, SGUnited programs and related .
  • Establish and manage key partner relationships including recruitment agencies, WDS, ITE, Universities, Government agencies like e2i, WSG and other associated organisations.
  • Successfully market and manage the employee referral programmes and explore other cost effective recruitment channels such as job fairs and related
  • Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring process for better control and transparency to support continuous improvement
  • Maintain proper documentation of hiring approvals, offers, candidate application and other personal documents received across the hiring process for audit and compliance.
  • Team development through coaching, mentoring and providing guidance.
  • Lead other HR / TA related projects as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 8-10 years' experience as a full-life-cycle recruiter, both in agency and in-house environment with minimum 4 years experience managing a team.
  • Candidates with experience managing high volume hiring for ground staff will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of recruiting techniques, sources, and the ability to research new recruiting sources
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers, interviewers and team members throughout the hiring process, including ability to interface with senior hiring leaders
  • Sound sourcing approach with ability to dive deep into searches for hard-to-fill positions
  • Sharp interview skills with ability to screen and assess talent for both technical and soft-skill qualities
  • Experience negotiating job offers with candidates
  • Basic knowledge of compensation concepts, benefits, equity compensation, and benefits required
  • Must be able to multi-task and bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to negotiate effectively. Strong influencing and communication skills required
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws and practices
  • Must be able to work in a team environment, with a sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize
  • Strong project and process management skills
  • Experience with Application Tracking System (ATS) i.e. Workday
