Job Description

What the role is:

You will be part of the Licensing Branch under the Industry Standards and Regulatory Division to manage animal establishments in Singapore through a licensing regime to safeguard animal health and welfare.

What you will be working on:

Based in JEM at Jurong East, you will be assisting the Director and Deputy Director of the Licensing Branch to plan and coordinate enforcement on animal-related offences.

You will also review current licensing and enforcement workflows and develop strategies and measures to increase the effectiveness of work processes.

In addition, you will support the Branch\'s public education efforts in promoting responsible pet ownership.

What we are looking for:

Proficient in enforcement procedures and good understanding of legislative applications and implications to related work processes.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Motivated to promote responsible pet ownership in Singapore.

Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
