What the role is:
Join Tote Board\'s Strategic Planning (SP) department as a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Manager/Manager. This is a unique opportunity for professionals from both public and private sectors to leverage their expertise in shaping Tote Board\'s strategic/ corporate plans and steering our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) programme, to contribute to the success of Tote Board (and its subsidiaries, Singapore Pools (Private) Ltd and Singapore Turf Club).
What you will be working on:
You will support Tote Board Senior Management in navigating the complexities of the current operating environment and support Tote Board\'s transformation in line with MOF and the larger Whole-of-Government objectives and outcomes. You will lead ERM in enabling the Tote Board Group to effectively manage risks and seize opportunities. Your responsibilities include:
Orchestrate Strategic and Corporate Planning initiatives, including medium to long-term planning, annual corporate planning, and horizon scanning.
Lead discussions to develop strategies and action plans that address challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
Review performance metrics and reporting systems to track strategic progress.
Synthesise information and foster collaboration across business units.
Communicate strategies and action plans to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
Manage ERM processes, including framework reviews, risk identification, prioritisation, and action plan development.
Promote and energise a risk-aware culture in Tote Board to support ERM.
Prepare management reports.
Maintain accurate records of SP documents and contribute to data management strategies.
Contribute to digitalisation initiatives.
Provide guidance on strategic planning and ERM activities to other divisions.
Take on special projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements:

Trained in any discipline
Minimum five years of professional experience (with a strong preference for demonstration of expertise in Strategic Planning, Corporate Planning and/ or Enterprise Risk Management).
Strong analytical and critical thinking to consider different perspectives and find sound solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build partnerships across a wide range of stakeholders.
A positive disposition, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Note: This is a fixed term contract position.
