Overview


We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco SD-WAN


(Viptela) and Palo Alto NGFWs/ Panorama to design, implement, and support secure


enterprise and multi-cloud network environments. The role involves advanced


troubleshooting, security integration, and cross-team collaboration to deliver resilient,


scalable, and secure connectivity.





Key Responsibilities;


Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network solutions, including Cisco SD- WAN (vManage, vSmart, vBond, WAN Edge) and Palo Alto NGFWs (PA-3K/5K/7K) with centralized management via Panorama. Configure and optimize network policies such as control/data policies, application- aware routing, TLOC extensions, secure overlay tunnels, NAT, threat prevention, SSL decryption, and zero-trust segmentation.
Integrate and support connectivity across branches, data centres, and multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


Perform upgrades, clustering, high-availability setups (Active/Active,
Active/Passive), patches, and routine network maintenance.


Monitor, analyse, and optimize network performance using vManage, Panorama, and third-party tools; recommend and implement improvements. Lead and support critical network projects, including migrations, tech refresh initiatives, proof of concepts, and security hardening. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing L3 escalation support and root cause analysis to minimize downtime. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Provide detailed documentation, reports, and presentations including design documents, runbooks, operational procedures, and performance updates.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and issue resolution. Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation and critical incident response as required. Stay current with emerging technologies, demonstrating continuous learning and innovation in network design and support.

Required Skills & Experience

4-8 years in networking/security; 2+ years Cisco SD-WAN and 2+ years Palo Alto NGFW/ Panorama.
Strong knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN architecture, routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), QoS, VPNs.
Expertise in Palo Alto HA design, NAT, IPS, SSL/TLS decryption, App-ID, User-ID. Familiar with cloud-delivered security, cloud on-ramp, and multi-cloud integration. Experience with automation/scripting (REST APIs, Ansible, Terraform) a plus.
Education & Certifications;


Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Telecom, or equivalent.
Certifications preferred:


o Cisco CCNP Enterprise or ENSDWI (300-415) / CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure


o Palo Alto PCNSE / PCNSA
