About the Department

The Credit and Risk Management function is comprised of three teams: Risk Management, Credit and Special Asset Management. We manage the risks arising from the Group's business activities within the risk appetite established by the Board. This involves identifying and evaluating the risks, developing effective risk governance and strategies as well as providing independent assessment of the overall risk profile.

Job Responsibilities

• Contact customer for payment, negotiate and workout payment plan to minimize risk exposure, increase collection amount, reduce non performing loans and credit losses.
• Review customers' profile and recommend the most cost effective and efficient collection action and treatment
• Attend and follow up on customer enquiries or requests via various communication tools (e.g. telephone, emails etc.)
• Handle disputes and ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally
• For accounts which remain in default, initiate collateral recovery, disposal or litigation activities to recover debt owed.
• Compile statistics and reports
• Assist to review risk and compliance related matters e.g. to address or mitigate operational risks, manage third party arrangements etc.
• Adhere and comply with regulations and bank's policies and processes
• Meet KPI set by management

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum 1 year, banking and finance related, debt management
