Job Purpose

Assist the Education & Outreach team to manage its outreach email account, and support the SMRT Adopt-A-Station and Learning Journey Programmes.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in managing activities held at schools, MRT stations and depots. This will include event planning, coordination and liaising with external parties, and making presentations to participants, including very young children.
• Manage the outreach email account and external correspondences.
• Liaise with internal departments and external organisations for engagement activities.
• Manage the inventory and fixed assets in the department, and other administrative work.
• Respond to Rail Incident Management Plan (RIMP) / Bus Incident Management Plan (BIMP) when needed. Be operationally ready for emergency rail incident activations.
• Lead or participate in Kaizen projects.
• Handle any other duties assigned by team manager or management.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Education Level: Minimum GCE \xe2\x80\x9cA\xe2\x80\x9d
Language Ability: Excellent English language oral and writing skills to be able to liaise with stakeholders. Competent in one other language
Years of Experience: At least 3 year\'s relevant working experience

Skills

• Possess a strong Customer Service disposition and mindset, and have good social skills in handling children
• Strong interpersonal skills, hardworking and is a team player
• Having strong presentation skills and/or being good with numbers, will be an advantage
• Advanced knowledge and experience with using Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
• Having skills in design and/or Photoshop will be an advantage.
