YOUR ROLE
Reporting to the CLL Control Tower Ops Supervisor or Manager. This role is responsible for management of Client’s orders to ensure successful origin order for outbound shipments. Primary function includes follow-up with supplier orders, perform order amendments, ASN, ISF validation, origin consolidations, 3rd party carrier management and milestone management. Perform material follow-up with vendors with missed shipment commitment dates. Ensure timely escalation of issues and manage supply chain disruptions and crisis. Maintain and provide timely and accurate shipment visibility per Client’s requirements. Responsibility includes training and coaching of Client’s vendors to ensure performance objectives. Ensures SOP alignment to customer expectations and CEVA agreed standards of performance. This position also supports optimizing productivity levels, continuous improvement and cost control initiatives.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?


  • Effective communications with all stakeholders
  • Manage disruptions and crisis that present risk to the supply chain
  • Monitor KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Ensure adherence to established work standards and work processes
  • Ongoing onboarding and training of vendors SOP and systems use
  • Implement changes to processes or policies as determined by the process owners
  • First point of contact for all operational issues with the Client
  • Track compliance performance of 3PL providers and carriers
  • Material follow-up with vendors who have missed shipment commitment dates and communicate their root cause and vendor’s recovery plan to Client
  • Support the preparation of periodic reporting, monthly reviews and quarterly business reviews
  • Ensure quality metrics are achieved including on time performance and data accuracy
  • Suggest corrective actions as necessary to prevent / address issues as they arise

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Essential
  • Equivalent of a Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • Five years' experience in Operations, Customer Service, Freight Forwarding Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Knowledge of transportation/warehouse management systems
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Ability to interact with people of cross functional and diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong situational analysis and quickly solve problems
  • Proven ability to get things done, conceptual thinker and team player
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and set priorities
  • Ability to maintain a positive and flexible attitude in the workplace.

Desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Science, Engineering or related field or with extensive work experience
  • Five to Eight years’ experience in Operations, Customer Service, Freight Forwarding Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  • Advanced understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts and logistics processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience in CEVA and Supply Chain Solutions and the systems deployed, especially Matrix SCM and Infor Nexus
