Description:

• Configuration and troubleshooting from the start of civil and structural construction activities to mechanical completion of site

• Manage full project cycle activities from the start of construction to commissioning and handover to customer.

• Compliance to client's operation and safety requirements.

• Implementation of highest safety, health, and environment protection (HSE) standards.

• Implementation of highest quality standards during project delivery.

• Stakeholder Management (Client, Suppliers/Vendors, and Contractors).

• Execution of project within budget and time schedule.

• Mobilization of key resources to meet project demands.

• Sub-contractor and Vendor Management.

• Monitoring and control of Project Progress by closely working with Lead Planners

• Construction Risk Management

• Handover and close-out of Project to the client.

• Must have leadership competencies, professional qualifications and vast experience of managing large and complex projects

• Manage a team of Quantity Surveyors (QS) for projects, senior engineers and tenders.

• Supervise QS on project progress claims.

• Supervise QS on evaluation of sub-contractors’ claims.

• Maintain relationships with clients and sub-contractors.

• To negotiate prices, credit and delivery terms with vendors and exercise cost control.

• To prepare and maintain the necessary documentation such as materials requisition, purchasing order, delivery order for all the transaction in purchasing and store, including goods rejects and returns, rework, repairs and QC.

• To conduct vendor audit.

• To perform all assigned duties and tasks within scheduled time.

• To oversee the whole project site's progress and ensure that all is in order

• Reports only to Project Manager.

• Required to communicate with Korean client. Proficiency in Korean is a must.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction-related field with at least 15 years experiences. (architecture prefered)

• Minimum 1 year experience in tender team for “Motor Manufacturing Facility Construction” such as Press, Body, Paint, Assembly, Engine, Battery Module etc.

• Minimum 6 - 8 years' experience in overseas construction project etc.

• Frequent travel is required.
