This successful candidate will provide clinical care for patients with lower limb conditions such as general skin and nail conditions, foot wounds, and biomechanical conditions.Responsibilities Independently assess cases of low and moderate complexities and interpret finding to form a defined and clear diagnosis; plan individual treatment and care for cases, demonstrating appropriate clinical reasoning . Make appropriate discharge plans and referral to other healthcare professionals where appropriate, explain treatment plan and expected outcomes to patient and caregiver; Use appropriate outcome measures and modifies treatment as required. Completes all clinical documentation promptly; assists in the supervision of students and junior colleagues to contribute to their development. Participated in projects at a team level and contribute to the department's strategic planning.Requirements Degree in podiatry from an institution recognised by Ministry of Health (Singapore) Preferably a member of the Podiatry Association of Singapore Good interpersonal and communication skills to deal with patients and colleagues from a diverse cultural background. With relevant experience / skilled in areas such as Nail Trimming, Callus Debridement, Corn Enucleation, Basic Wound management (including sharp wound debridement technique), Biomechanical Assessment, Taking impressions of feet (plaster of paris, foam box casting), Prescription and fitting of prefabricated and customised orthotics (including trouble shooting problems).
