Business units are actively using data and insights to make strategic decisions and drive Go-To-Market use cases.We\'re looking for an experienced Senior Project Portfolio Manager who can manage stakeholders, business, and IT delivery at different levels.This role is part of Singtel Group IT - Data & Platform Management, responsible for delivering data programs and projects on time and on budget, meeting business objectives. The Senior Project Portfolio Manager will manage the project and program portfolio to ensure that project teams deliver within time and budget. This role provides a holistic view of status, risk, issues, and budget across all projects in the portfolio and ensures that project teams follow Singtel\'s project management processes. The role also monitors projects through all stages, from assessment to project commissioning, and represents the department in Singtel\'s Project Management Chapter.Make an Impact by:Stakeholder Management & Communications:

• Extensive engagement with senior management, requiring strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Influence and manage the program business \'outcome\' rather than purely managing the program \'process.\'
• Demonstrate proven people management experience to lead, motivate, and develop teams of industry professionals to solve culturally diverse technical and business issues.
• Exhibit high levels of thought clarity and communication skills.
• Communicate with senior project stakeholders (sponsors, owners, and Product Managers) within Singtel IT and the business (Executive and C-level).

Delivery and Resource Management:

• Manage/deliver programs and projects related to data solutions and own complete end-to-end project management accountability.
• Develop, manage, and improve stakeholder relations - both internal and external.
• Utilize project management artifacts to ensure effective outcomes, including:

• Accuracy of forecasting.
• Meeting delivery timelines and schedules.
• Adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor and control project progress, budget, cost, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with Singtel Project Management policies and procedures.
• Lead in identifying business impacts resulting from project implementation and proactively manage them.
• Resolve program/project escalated issues and disputes while maintaining constructive working relationships and achieving schedule commitments.
• Prepare resource plans and manage ongoing resource forecasts.
• Conduct weekly status meetings and steering committee meetings for updates to management.
• Ensure a smooth transition to service delivery teams.
• Work with and manage a core team of cross-functional members from across Singtel and external vendors to deliver project outcomes, including managing offshore teams and vendors.
• Ensure customer expectations are managed well.

Financial Management:

• Meet key program/project delivery milestones along with financial and customer-centric KPIs.
• Prepare monthly financial forecasts and reconciliations against budget to maintain forecasting variance within agreed limits.
• Deliver financial submissions and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders in accordance with Singtel capital management processes.
• Exhibit strong financial and commercial management skills to ensure financial budgets are managed effectively and the program delivers to sponsors\' expectations.

Contract Management:

• Manage the entire procurement process, leading to successful vendor selection through standard tender processes.
• Execute timely contract negotiations and contract management.
• Ensure strict adherence to all procurement governance guidelines.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Management, IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• PMP or Prince2 certified
• Minimum 10 years of experience in delivering large scale data programs in big data, data warehouse, BI & reporting and / or data management
• Experience in delivering projects in agile delivery methodologies
• Experience in project tracking; continuously monitors project for potential risks, highlight issues and dependencies and status reporting
• Experience in working with cross functional teams comprises of IT, business, data product owners and vendors
• Experience in procurement process - managing tenders and negotiating contracts
• Experience in managing Capex of over S$5M
• Experience in IT financial management, budgeting and project cost controlling
• Experience in senior stakeholder management
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• In depth knowledge of project and software delivery life cycle & challenges involved
• Well versed with various project management methodologies and frameworks
• Contract negotiation and management skills
• Advanced experience with Jira, confluence, MS Project and tools supporting agile project delivery
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management
• Proven ability to work in diverse background
