Job Description


The Senior Process Engineer (NPI) is in charge of managing product manufacturing campaigns from the commencement of production, providing technical supervision in terms of quality and EHS until the material is completed and released.

You must work with department stakeholders to analyze the robustness of transferring procedures and analytical methods to successfully complete a New Product Introduction (NPI) technical transfer project with associated risk to an acceptable level.

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations team, Engineering Services, Automation, R&D, Quality, Compliance, and Safety teams to ensure batch process train availability, product quality and compliance, and qualification of new materials.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new processes for manufacturing products from concept to launch
  • Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product launches
  • Design experiments for process improvement, analyze data, and interpret results for process optimization
  • Lead the development of process flows, tooling strategies, routings, etc. for new products
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to define specifications and tolerances
  • Establish metrics for evaluating process performance and monitor production lines to ensure quality standards are met
  • Create detailed reports on process performance and recommend improvements as needed
  • Participate in the design of fixtures/tooling that will be used in production
  • Assist in troubleshooting existing processes/products as needed
Requirements:
  • A bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering or a Science degree with a specialization in Chemistry
  • Familiarity with advanced unit operation modeling and scale-up prediction tools, such as Dynochem, in determining process parameters for critical unit operations, PRO/II, HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and others.
