NUS Central Procurement Office (CPO) is seeking a highly motivated and proactive team member to join our team. The successful candidate will partner and support stakeholders in Bukit Timah Campus to deliver a full spectrum of procurement activities to meet the dynamic needs of the businesses. The selected candidate will stationed at the office in Bukit Timah Campus.

• Provide end-to-end support, advice and training on procurement policy, procedures and system
• Sourcing for General Goods and Services (GGS) category
• Administer quotation and tender processes and review procurement documents as per University Procurement Policy and Procedures
• Participate in the evaluation of bids and conduct negotiations to ensure value for money
• Verify that bids are evaluated fairly, prepare recommendation reports for approval and award the bids in consultation with users
• Perform procurement transactions in Ariba (i.e. publication, bid download, award, PO creation, goods receipt) to meet Service Level Agreement
• Point of contact between users and other specialist departments
• Develop a sound supplier network, manage supplier relationships and contracts
• Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and improvements
• Regular reporting of procurement performance and spend analysis

Qualifications

• Degree in any field
• At least 3 years of relevant procurement experience
• Good interpersonal, communication, and people management skills
• Results oriented, strong attention to detail, and good time management skills
• Demonstrates commitment to teamwork with good analytical and project management skills
• Experience as a change agent in an organisation
• Experience in Ariba is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
