Senior Procurement Executive (Indirect Categories)

Our client is an global internet platform company, which focus on the business growth in Greater Southeast Asia. They operate various industry-leading platforms across digital entertainment, and digital financial services. Their platforms share substantial common capabilities across talent, technology development, marketing, and infrastructure, creating a true multi-platform company in the region. With the increased presence and commercial growth in the region, they are now on an active lookout for a strategic and hands-on Senior Procurement Executive for all key procurement activities, managing the requirements from the various business heads.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will be part of an integrated value-chain and is responsible for a category/commodity management in the region:
  • Manage entire Purchasing process
  • Ensure proper recording of POs, pricing and spend
  • Support plans to develop and innovate the entire procurement processes and policies
  • Conduct market analysis so as to ensure optimal value for the purchasing department, applying internal methodologies, procedures and tools when necessary
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders i.e. business leads, key account managers, marketing head, finance team
  • Establish, strengthen and maintain relationship with existing and new suppliers, ensuring supply reliability in both quantity and quality.

Candidate Profile
  • Work location: Singapore
  • Minimally possesses a Bachelors' in Procurement, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or any related discipline
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Minimum 4 years’ of experience in indirect procurement activities in a matrix organization
  • Vendor-based knowledge for categories such as network servers, switches, routers, facilities-related services would be a bonus, but not a must
  • Willing to execute operational duties, with supporting track records
