Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Add value through proper negotiation, product standardizing or innovative ways of sourcing.
• Develop a reliable supplier network, manage supplier relationship and contracts
• Perform risk management for supply contracts & agreements
• Ensure compliance to procurement policies and procedures
• Keep track of inventory stock levels and manage them at all sites and warehouses. Check stock levels against the warehouse's monthly stock report to ensure they match.
• Process automation - optimise and improve workflow, implement software automation.
• Develop strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
• Perform support activities in daily operations
• Implement best practices and procedures. Establish and monitor key performance matrix on order fulfilment lead time, forecast accuracy, cost reduction, optimum inventory management, etc
• Manage warehouse, transportation and other logistics processes
• Negotiate freight booking and reasonable prices with freight forwarders/shipping lines and warehouses
  

• Must be able to work under minimum supervision, independently , dynamic & fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines;
• Resourceful with positive attitude and able to work independently.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• At least 2 years working experience in related field;
• Degree / Diploma with 2 – 3 years working experience
• Strong communication skill and able to interact with customers, vendors and all level of staffs;
• Experience in purchasing line.
