Job Purpose

The Senior Product Manager will play a pivotal role in defining the strategy, development, and success of our mobile applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, marketing, and quality assurance, to ensure our apps meet customer needs and fulfil SMRT\'s business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our mobile applications.
• Roadmap Management: Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features, enhancements, and improvements.
• Requirements Gathering: Define and document detailed product requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• User Research: Conduct user research and gather customer feedback to identify pain points, needs, and opportunities for app enhancements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, designers, and other teams to guide the development process, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Usability and User Experience: Focus on optimizing user experience and app usability through design and feature improvements.
• Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and track the performance of the apps. Make data-driven decisions for product enhancements.
• Marketing and Promotion: Work with marketing teams to promote app features and drive user engagement.
• Budget Management: Manage the product budget, including cost analysis and financial forecasting.
• Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed about product development progress and changes.
• Compliance: Ensure the apps meet legal and compliance requirements, including data privacy and security.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Degree in computer science, business or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on mobile app development.

• Experience with app store platforms (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) is a plus.

Skills

• Strong understanding of mobile app ecosystems, platforms, and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead without direct authority.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Data-driven decision-making and proficiency in using analytics tools.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
