Roles & Responsibilities The successful candidate will manage the Production Control department, ensure timely response to internal and external customers requests, manage WIP and planned downtime schedule, monitor project delivery schedules for On Time Delivery (OTD) and meet company’s short-term and long term objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyse, plan, and manage production control activities to improve moves and reduce cycle time.
• Work with Sales and Production Planning to manage lot priority, wafer start, fab-out and shipment.
• Identify potential bottleneck in the line and manage the WIP to avoid causing a bottleneck.
• Coordinate with TD, PI, Production Planning and Sales on project delivery schedules.
• Plan scheduled downtime windows with Production Planning, Engineering and Facilities to minimize impact to WIP flow and Fab performance
• Review production plan to identify risks and solutions and communicate to relevant stakeholders
• Set shift production targets based on individual lots’ rocket chart for operations to meet
• Work with Production Planning and Operations on a recovery plan for lots behind OTD schedule
• Escalate to management on equipment/process issues that may impact OTD.
• Chair daily meeting with manufacturing to review fab performance and work closely with production to meet OTD of wafers to customers.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly Fab performance indices reports for management.
• Present current month’s WIP for fab-out and the projected fab-out for next 3 months during the weekly Sales & Ops meeting
• Record and account for every delay of any lot that misses OTD. Provide solutions to avoid occurrence of similar delays.
• Develop improvements for manufacturing and production control systems to meet business objectives.
• Assist in the enhancement and implementation of MES
• Meet ISO9000 audit requirement.

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as Production Controller in a Semiconductor Wafer Fab.
• Hands-on experience with plant start-up & MRP System Development preferred.
• Required Skill(s): Project Management, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, MS office literate.
