Job Description

: Oversees and directs production operations for a manufacturing organization. They lead production operations, coordinate production staff and equipment, and ensure the quality and profitability of products. The role requires releases and maintains production work orders and speeds up process and future orders based on customer needs They are responsible for ensuring the production company makes a profit at the same time as making sure all the relevant protocols are followed. They need to promote on-going improvement using work improvement methods to achieve on-time product delivery and reduced working hours. Overseeing the factory\xe2\x80\x99s safety requirements to ensure good working practices and strive toward zero injuries at the production areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• To determine the best and most efficient uses of the available resources, equipment, and labor to meet production goals.
• Assist to assign job duties and build a production schedule according to the plan for manpower management.
• Hires and trains the workforce to meet production goals.
• To manage, review and motivate the staff to ensure they are meeting performance and safety requirements.
• To prepare production reports and recordings for analysis needs.
• To investigate problems, analyze root causes, and define solutions.
• To develop new and cost-effective ways to improve quality and productivity.
• To develop new ways of manufacturing, improving existing manufacturing processes, providing additional training, or adopting better manufacturing processes.
• Identify opportunities for improving the efficiency of the operations
• Assists in developing Production Standard & Procedures.
• Monitor the progress of production, confirming the schedule and achieve the targeted plan.
• Establish and enforce company policies and food safety procedures for production workers
• Train and develop workers on process changes or new production lines.
• Motivate the workers and monitor them to ensure they meet company requirements and performance.
• To plan and upkeep factory cleanliness to ensure good working conditions
• To work closely with the safety manager to ensure all safety compliance are maintained and meet the requirement standards.
• To work together closely with production manager for all production planning and budgets

Job Requirements:

• Minimum diploma & above with at least 4 year(s) of relevant working experience
• Experience in stock take is advantageous
• Meticulous and conscientious
• Able to multitask and work in a team
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word will be an added advantage.
