Our client is actively searching for a Senior Professional Officer, Supply Chain to join their team!If you are a dynamic individual seeking a new career opportunity, read further!The responsibilities of this role are: Design and teach labs & practice modules. Mentor students in Capstone Projects and the Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP). Lead or co-lead innovation projects with industry. Manage labs and equipment to support academic programmes and applied research. Ensure safety in labsThe ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience: A good degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Computing or Data Science from a recognized University. Major in Software Engineering or possessing a Master degree will be advantageous. At least 10 years' experience in the knowledge domain of ICT and Supply Chain / Logistics. Proven experience as a Supply Chain and Logistics IT Solution Engineer or similar role, with good knowledge of industry practices and technological applications in the field. Experiences on supply chain technologies such as demand and inventory planning, warehouse, and transportation systems in various sectors, e.g., manufacturing, food, healthcare, sustainability etc.; relevant ICT background for E-Commerce, Cyber-physical Digital Twins in Supply Chain implementation and integration will be advantageous. Keen interest to support research and academic project work, with demonstrated ability in developing supply chain and logistics solutions to solving technical problems. Possess strong supervisory skills and enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment. Professional Officers appointed at senior levels may have managerial responsibilities.
