DESIGNATION : Senior Programme Coordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES
A Senior Programme Coordinator (SPC) is responsible for managing, developing and reviewing residents’ activity programmes carried out by Resident Care Partners (RCP) and all relevant stakeholders (including volunteers) under the direction of trained AHPs and according to established policies, procedures and guidelines.

  • Develop, coordinate and conduct programmes to suit residents’ holistic needs
  • Review programmes to ensure relevance and effectiveness in meeting needs of all residents
  • Develop and oversee programme to ensure quality control and compliance procedures (eg. proper documentation and resident safety in line with SOP)
  • Responsible for reporting requirements and updates to supervisor
  • Manage engagement and performance of the programme team (RCPs)
  • Support professional development of the programme team (RCPs)
  • Guide RCPs and volunteers in executing activity programmes
  • Establish collaboration and liaise with external stakeholders such as corporate /institutional and grassroot organisations etc.) in the development of programmes
  • Review information materials for distribution
  • Procure consumables and supplies as required with proper monitoring of budget allocated
  • Assist with General Duties
  • Work with multi-disciplinary team to create holistic programmes
  • Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Maintain good communication and feedback with residents and sponsors
Requirements:
  • Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work around unexpected changes and situations
  • Prior experience in working with persons with dementia is an added advantage
  • Understand and able to apply the whole Person-Centred Care approach concept in the everyday running of programmes
  • Candidate with relevant work experience in healthcare have an advantage
  • Self-motivated and highly initiative
  • Resourceful and Meticulous
  • Ability to plan and implement ideas
  • Must be able to read and understand simple English
  • Computer literate
  • Able to perform some simply physical work
  • Willing to multi-task and work in an elderly friendly environment.


QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or equivalent
