Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• To be Responsible for Project and Construction site management

• To lead a team of skilled workers on steel building works.

• To be responsible for resources planning (ie manpower, equipment and materials) from project kick-off to completion;

• To liaise with consultant, relevant authorized parties and project related personnel for project specifications and requirements;

• To monitor project development budget on awarded contract sum, variation orders, omissions and certifying claims and payments;

• Attend technical and site meetings to resolve design issues and site problems

• To take actions to resolve any delay/ technical issues/ difficulties that may arise during the execution of projects.

• To supervise construction site team and sub-contractors as necessary at construction sites.

• To ensure that projects are completed as per approved drawings within the required deadline and allocated budget.

• To establish proper and effective documentation filing system.
  

Requirements:

• Possess Bachelor Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Similar Field

• 5-8 years of construction project management experience, preferably in structural steel work Construction industry

• Possess strong technical knowledge and is familiar with authorities requirement

• Must possess CSCPM certificate

• Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS) - Structural Steel Engineer (StEr) certs would be advantageous

• Added advantage Certified Welding inspector certificate AWS-CWI or CSWIP 3.1

• Strong leadership and excellent communication and organizational skills\

• Significant experience with MS office and Microsoft Projects

• Valid Class 3 Driving Licence

• Able to work in Jurong Island
