Our client is a US MNC and a Fortune 500 Company, providing industry automation solutions to their customers in over 100 countries globally. They are currently hiring for a Senior/ Regional Sales Manager and will like to invite suitable candidates to apply for the position.


Senior/ Regional Sales Manager Description: This position will be the Sales leader for multiple territories/countries in South East Asia, working directly with our channel partners in assigned Territories. They will have direct responsibility for Territory Sales Targets, building and managing a strong opportunity funnel to deliver these targets, and reporting responsibilities. They will work with the team to implement and drive product & sales strategies across the channel network and work with the Sales team. Job Responsibilities: Expected activities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Sets Yearly and Monthly Financial Goal for Distribution Channels and help them exceed those goals. Track and Report Monthly Performance.
  • Provides technical support to internal sales teams as well as customers by reviewing applications and specifying appropriate actuators.
  • Identifies White Space in assigned Territories and then develop channel plan to capture White Space opportunity.
  • Collaborates with Regional Sales & Project Pursuit leaders to identify and win projects.
  • Works closely with the product marketing team on new market developments and product updates.
  • Become an expert on the Products and Territories Represented.
  • Provides sales and product training for the Distribution channels, End Users, EPCs to drive preference.
  • Develops, records and presents insights on the Asia Pacific Actuation market to regional and global management including but not limited to competitors, pricing, product gaps etc.
  • Has full ownership of Measuring, Tracking & Reporting progress for overall business for territories/countries managed.
Additional Information:
  • Must be customer focused leader with sales and business development competencies. They will have demonstrated knowledge of Valve Automation / Actuation technologies or related industries. They will have a solid understanding of the different stakeholders EPCs, OEMs, Competition as well as Industry insights. Personal attributes such as self-starter attitude, great people skills and high integrity are a must for this role.
Job Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree with 8 years of sales experience in Valve Actuation or instrumentation and control systems or related industry.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and ability to define and clearly articulate a plan of action.
  • An aptitude in solution-based selling (not price negotiation only) is a must.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Some supervisory experience is preferred, Travel is expected 30% of the time.
