This is a Permanent role.

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE ROLE:

  • Promote the GMS Marine Retrofit Solutions for GMS HVAC systems & Through Life
  • Mature Asset Services to key End Users, decision makers and influencers within South East Asia marine, offshore, oil & gas markets.
  • Promote and Increase Awareness of Marine Solutions.
  • Collaborate and coordinate activities across GMS & Navy x 12 Branches
  • Ability to handle technical queries from customers and execute project independently
  • Working with the Branch Manager/Sales Manager to implement the agreed strategy for
  • Business development and the promotion Marine Solutions.
  • Work alongside the Sales and Engineering teams to create and develop a strong platform for new build sales within South East Asia Marine & Offshore markets.
  • Identification for PRIME opportunity, delivery and conversion of sales opportunities
What you will do:
  • Be responsible for promoting the company as the Industry Leader to key decision makers and influencers within the Marine & Offshore market places.
  • Target and develop key End User relationships across each of the regions. In particular those associated with the Marine & Offshore.
  • Develop an understanding of the Local Authorities and their associated regulations and
  • company registrations required in association with each of the solutions we take to market.
  • Identify, lead and coordinate the company efforts to obtain local Authority and End User product /
  • solution approvals
  • Long term goals will include developing a strategy and platform by which we are able to
  • target new installation sales opportunities for the company within the territory.
  • Responsibility for the development and achievement of the the company Business Development and Growth Plan, including specific sales objectives and financial targets.
  • Identify potential and develop those accounts within territory that have a mind-set and can add value as Key Account Service Partners.
  • Further develop existing and identify / target new Customer relationships and projects in
  • order to promote the company and generate service opportunity particular on PRIME/Retrofit projects
  • Evaluate analysis findings for technical and business reports.
  • Handle design works and/or project management relevant to HVAC.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of opportunity conversion by maximising strong relationships with potential Customers and decision makers / influencers.
What we look for:
  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering discipline
  • Experience working in an Oil, Gas, Marine and Energy Market Place.
  • Experience identifying, contacting and promoting the solutions of a large enterprise to Local Authorities, End Users and market decision makers.
  • Ability to communicate both internally and externally at high levels.
  • Customer focused orientation with strong influencing and negotiation skills to gain wide
  • acceptance.
  • A high level of Business Acumen with strong strategic agility.
  • Systematic and Logical with a drive to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Must thrive in challenging situations and work within the parameters of the organization.
  • Come with technical knowledge of HVAC and prior experience.
