This position will be in the Sales Operations group focused on account management. We are the customer facing portion of the group responsible for clearly communicating our customers needs within Seagate and reporting the status of the business to our management groups clearly and accurately. This position\'s customer base will be distribution business focused on supporting our sellers and distributors with their requirements.
About the role - you will:
Seagate is currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Sales Operations /Account Manager to be responsible for overseeing APAC / China / Japan distribution channel business via interactions with the local sales leads and distributors. Focus will be on analyzing pipelines, historical data, live communications, and material status to communicate regional status on revenue, finishing goods levels and goals to management. This role will report directly to the Distribution Manager of Account Management. You will:
Have overall responsibility for revenue target accuracy and communications of regional status to revenue goals
Build collaborative relationships on multiple organizational levels, with managers, partners and peers from diverse backgrounds across functional lines
Act as a customer advocate when communicating requirements within the business
Think big picture and have end goal in mind at each step of the process
Analyze in real time to manage customer sentiment while discussing sensitive topics
Monitor and report on aged Finishing Goods per region at distributor and at Seagate Factory
Participate in and/or supports the development and execution of strategies to meet business objectives
Manage the regions through conference calls, emails, and IM\xe2\x80\x99s to ensure data accuracy and goals are on track
Manage customer inquiries for varying requirements and distribute them to the correct teams and ensure transfer of the asks are complete
Have management of overall regional revenue
Manage new product/customer penetration/up-sell to current customers
Facilitating Accounts Receivables
Monitors Daily Sales Order levels
Manage commitments and expectations with the customer whilst liaising with the extended teams
Communicate part and component end of life strategies with input from procurement
Apply mentoring and coaching skills to motivate and guide other employees
Share best practices with partners and peer groups
About you:
Self-starter a must
Proven ability to self-manage schedules and time, plan tactically, think strategically
Demonstrate exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
Your experience includes:
Proficient in data analysis utilizing Excel or Alteryx
Able to illustrate data for exec level communications via utilizing proficiency in PowerPoint and Email correspondence
Critically analyze and manage materials forecast and revenue inputs
Knowledge of systems process and customer setups
Minimum 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar customer facing role
Working knowledge of disk drives, storage subsystems, application platforms, and RAID
A clear understanding of distribution customers / sales leader relationships
Ability to understand product offerings as they relate to your customer base including New Product Introductions, current products, and End of Life (EOL)
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business or a related field
