Full time senior cybersecurity defense opportunity in an university environment (Focusing on cybersecurity incident response management):

Responsibilities: * Work in a team to manage the cybersecurity incident response, investigation & resolution

• Provide guidance, advise & overseeing the Tier 1 analysts (outsourced SOC team) on their daily functional role
• Perform deep dive analysis, investigation & follow up on cybersecurity incidents
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for validation & identify appropriate response & resolution for cybersecurity incidents
• Review & continually enhance / fine tune existing detection rule set & development of new use cases to enhance the Cyber threat detection capabilities
• Conduct analysis on malware & phishing attacks in order to identify the behavior & tactics used
• Identify control gaps / weaknesses in current processes & recommend measurers, tools or software application
• Manage & monitor the threat intelligence solutions, forensic, malware analysis tools, Endpoint Detection & Response solutions

Requirements:

• min. Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related discipline
• min. 5 years & above of IT related working experience, especially in Cyber Security defense operation or SOC environment
• experience with the use forensic or incident response tools to assist with cybersecurity incident investigation
