This role is to for the Singapore Vision Care business which owns the world-leading ACUVUE\xc2\xae Brand Contact LensesThe Senior Specialist, SFE will have responsibility for:Developing the commercial strategy for Singapore vision care business in line with business targets to reach requested sales, profitability.The Senior Specialist, SFE\'s role is to enable driving product demand and sales in retail optical stores via creating effective sales strategies, product visibility and drive consumer demand. The role will work closely with sales, marketing and PD teams to drive revenue growth initiatives.Expected to Apply a broad knowledge of the organization\'s products, services and marketing campaigns to work with internal stakeholders and Eye Care Professionals on inclusion of products into the practice, close sales. Deep understanding of business drivers and ability to generate insights from data to address business problems is a key imperative.This role will report to the Business Unit Leader for Vision Care Singapore.As a Senior Specialist, SFE you will:

  • Develop Plan of Action (POA) objectives in line with market strategy monitor Sales Plans, SFE in line with overall Country\'s commercial objectives
  • Support the Commercial team by analyzing complex business issues, assisting sales and management team in constructing sales forecast and budgets based on both data-driven insights and market understanding.
  • Channel segmentation and Growth Opportunity Planning: Leading and implementing channel-specific commercial strategies and plans for Key Accounts & Top Independent Optical stores.
  • Conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and rolling out impactful in-store promotions/campaigns in collaboration with Customers, Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Visiting the points of sale regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected. To bring insights from the ground into strategic plans and validate data insights through qualitative connect with eyecare professionals (ECPs). Expected to spend 20%-30% time on field
  • Support the Commercial team in driving and measuring business strategies and KPIs through analytics dashboards, data mining and providing meaningful recommendations.
  • Support and represent the SG commercial team in business projects to increase efficiency ie vendor managed inventory (VMI), Portfolio review and other such change initiatives.
  • Supporting finance manager in preparation of analyses and tracking of the Annual Budget, Rolling Forecasts and ad-hoc analysis/reporting.
  • Manage Sales Budgets with excellence via ensuring spending is in line with overall Country\'s commercial objectives. Lead cost optimization projects for better ROI.
  • Work closely between the sales team and the demand planning team to ensure accurate forecasting signals are sent to the planning team
  • Work closely with Regional and Cluster office to adopt best practices from other markets and support implementation in local market
  • Access and suggest appropriate got to market for various categories and customer segments. Define commercial strategy for each retailer segment in line with budget targets to reach requested sales, profitability.
  • Developing promotional plans in conjunction with Marketing, aimed at driving sell-in and sell-out
  • Establish and develop strong working relationship with the retailers
  • Channel Partner Commercial programs: BPA structure implementation and tracking
  • Target Setting: Review and recommend improvements in the areas of target setting processes and incentive management programs in coordination with regional and country leadership
  • SFE Tools - own Clearview and other commercial processes & tools that enable the commercial teams to be productive
This role does not have any direct reports.Time in market/ customers- 20-30% time on fieldMinimum Education required for competent performance:
  • Bachelor\'s degree required
  • Masters in Business preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience working in sales or marketing or Commercial excellence roles
  • Experience in the Optical Industry is desired.
  • Sharp analytical, problem solving and project management skills with database knowledge.
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office applications and other database applications
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work in cross-functional team effectively.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required and knowledge of macros and operating systems such as Tableau, SAP are desirable.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Previous analytical and/or management accounting experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferably familiar with RGM model to drive business growth and profitability.
