As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will join our global team of experts and structural sector of our business in Singapore. Your finest task in our team will be to run projects, develop client relationships and act as a support to our civil/structural team.

In addition, you will be accountable for developing and mentoring a team of engineers and technicians involved on a variety structural design for ERSS, structural and civil engineering projects, liaising with clients and other stakeholders. You will be engaged in the project management of a project from feasibility through to detailed design and be the technical lead for the scheme.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the civil and structural design and analysis for either tender or detailed design.
• Ensuring that design, assessments and checking of designs are in accordance with the current Standards, Codes of Practice and Best Practice.
• Reviewing/checking/approving designs, assessments and calculations in accordance with quality procedures.
• Preparation of risk assessments and full compliance with DFS.
• Coordination of work undertaken by external sub-contractors and design checkers and Client management.

On top of that, you have:

• Civil Engineering degree with at least 7 + years of relevant experience by Professional Engineering Board in Singapore, preference to a registered Professional Engineer (Civil).
• Experience of working in a design environment in Singapore (mandatory).
• Sound understanding of DFS Regulations, specifically the designer\'s requirements and the risk assessment process.
• Experience in the civil engineering and underground construction sectors - both on site and in design office while underground MRT station is necessary.
• Fluency in English language, both written and verbal.
