Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the Quality Control (QC) team to achieve the quality objectives.
• Deploy the QC resources productively to aid the operational requirements.
• Ensure the QC team complies with all quality system procedures and inspection requirements.
• Review staffing and training needed including performance, salary, and career appraisal as well as hiring, retaining and developing new talent.
• Provide mentorship and direction to close gaps multi-functionally.
• Interface with other departments such as Engineering, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, HR & Materials to achieve business goals & company objectives.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to Quality by meeting all Quality authority regulations and driving quality culture within the team.
• Lead productivity and CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) projects to reduce cost, improve quality and cycle time.
• Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or other equivalent.
• 5 years\' experience in quality control, operations or manufacturing with supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Process and detail oriented, including strong interpersonal and prioritization skills.
• Experience working with system in SAP is a plus.
• Relevant experience in Aerospace, manufacturing or MRO is a plus.
