The teams manages and ensures the smooth operations and delivery of IT projects that serves the Financial Industry as well as MAS users.You will be part of the Central Banking & Devt Platforms division, responsible for managing the systems supporting the reserves and risk management systems in MAS.In this role, the officer is expected to undertake the following areas of works:Application, service, and system ownership:Own and manage a suite of applications systemsOwn and manage a portfolio of digital servicesTo manage the applications and services as a portfolioSolution design:Business analysis and functional designDevelop actionable insights into business operations and processesElicit, shape, scope, and manage business requirements through rigorous and appropriate methods of information gathering and collaboration with stakeholdersDesign solutions that are consistent with business and technology objectivesDevelop the solution\'s business case in collaboration with stakeholders, and co-champion itTechnology analysis and solution design:Design the application technology solution, for both bespoke applications (custom developed) and COTS based solutionsProject and product delivery and quality:Plan and manage IT projects, and ensure alignment of project to the business objectives within established scope, cost and scheduleQuality: To assure the quality of systems and applications, including the establishment of quality management technology and systems for applications development and deliveryOperations and maintenance, User support:Establish reliable operations of the applications and digital service in the portfolioConduct maintenance and technology lifecycle management on the applications and systemsGovernance, Risk, Compliance:Ensure compliance to ICT Governance policies and standardsEstablish quality and mechanisms for systemic quality across all applications and systemsEstablish risk management for applications systemsPartner and vendor arrangements and resourcingDesign and establish vendor and resourcing arrangements, contracts, service levels for the delivery and management of digital services, systems and technologyWhat we are looking for:Bachelor\'s Degree with at least 10 years\' relevant experience in supporting and/or implementing trade management systems.Proven track record in project and vendor management and delivery, and familiar with business processs analysis and re-engineeringProven experience in managing operations, handling of issues, and systems monitoring.Ability to conduct technical assessments, respond to timely inquiries, and present written/ oral presentations.Experience in Java/J2EE and/or Microsoft .NET Framework and PL/SQL programming.Good working knowledge of databases and fault-tolerant infrastructure concepts.Understanding of financial instruments, will be an advantageUnderstanding of S.W.I.F.T messaging platform and infrastructure will be an advantageKnowledge about or experience with SimCorp Dimension\xc2\xae will be an advantage.Certifications in PMP/ ScrumMaster\xc2\xae and relevant technical skills will be an advantageAble to work independently as well as in a teamGood decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.Strong interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.This is a 2-Year contract position.
