Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior System Support Engineer to join our team to provide advanced technical support and maintenance for computer systems, networks, and infrastructure within an organization.

Senior System Support Engineer provides advanced technical support, perform system administration tasks, and ensure the efficient operation of computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities and Duties

\xe2\x96\xaa To lead Support Team to fulfil both customer\'s and Company\'s objectives.

\xe2\x96\xaa Build up the Support Handbook and Product\'s FAQ.

\xe2\x96\xaa To provide technical support, application support to the customer.

\xe2\x96\xaa To assist and perform research and development activities, in-house or commissioned from external research organization.

\xe2\x96\xaa To diagnose software and hardware problems and redirect the problems to appropriate resources.

\xe2\x96\xaa To develop new and/or improved technical processes, products or utilization of materials for the company (inclusive of coding, PCB/Schematic design, testing, assembly of circuits and other related tasks).

\xe2\x96\xaa To search for better hardware and software technologies for use in developing and implementing different range of products, through means of facts findings (internet, books, magazines, journals) or attending of training session whenever required.

\xe2\x96\xaa To perform pre-sales and post-sales support to Sales and Service team.

\xe2\x96\xaa To assist in testing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining company product.

\xe2\x96\xaa To prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly/work progress report, and other related reports and documents required on time.

\xe2\x96\xaa Any other duties that assigned by superior.

Requirement

\xe2\x96\xaa Possess at least Degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

\xe2\x96\xaa Knowledge in computer hardware, networking technologies and Motorola/Intel/Microchip MCU architecture.

\xe2\x96\xaa Knowledge in DSP/Ethernet/RFID/C language/Linux program design will be an added advantage.

\xe2\x96\xaa Problem solving and hands on trouble shooting skills.

\xe2\x96\xaa Minimum 5 years of working experience in technical customer support or similar scope.

\xe2\x96\xaa Ability to lead and train team members.

\xe2\x96\xaa Independent and focused individual capable of taking challenges under a highly competitive environment.

\xe2\x96\xaa Able to communicate effectively at all levels and a good team player.

\xe2\x96\xaa Excellent written spoken Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin.
