Responsibilities

Provide technical support to the shop to achieve engineering and quality excellence.

Liaise with system integrator on troubleshooting defects/fault code that arises from operations.

Work with process engineers to propose, design, draft and review alternate methods for engine disassembly and assembly processes, pertaining to robotics and automation.

Lead and coordinate alignment between multiple discipline and organizations to develop and deploy technology projects.

Liaise and coordinate with engine OEM on modification and local fabrication of tools for automation.

Work proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards resolution.

Lead and coordinate for site level Process Certification and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).

Propose and implement creative engineering solution to improve quality, reduce engine turn time and shop visit cost.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the new technical service engineers in training.

Lead continuous improvement projects to bring progressive change to the department and company.

Lead or participate in special projects assigned by the Engineering Management.

Requirements

Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience troubleshooting, testing in robotics applications.

Proficiency in robotics systems (ABB, FANUC & Yaskawa etc..) and PLC programming (Mitsubishi, Siemens & Omron etc.).

Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematic and engineering drawing.

Knowledge in vision and motion control system.

Good working knowledge in MS Office applications (Words, Excel, Projects, and Power Point).

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Versatile worker who can work well in a team setting and independently.

Ability to think and process information in the macro and micro level.

Knowledge of major modules and Aero engine systems is a plus.

Knowledge in tool design and/or 3D modelling will be an advantage.
