Job Description
[What the role is]
As a Senior Officer, your role is to formulate, review and implement policies and schemes in specific functional areas. [What you will be working on] - To formulate high strength metal alloy or polymer for various industrial applications - To manage the material processing services offer to the industries - To set up new facilities and capabilities in materials development. - To assist academic staff in responding to technical challenges as well as to develop their technical skills [What we are looking for]
- Suitable credentials either in Materials Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in any high strength metal alloy or polymer formulation
- Familiar in local R&D development as well as specialise materials needed in the industry sectors
- Experience in the characterization tools will be an advantage
- Experience in project managements of commercial and funded projects.
