Job Description



Broad Function
The Senior / Executive will be part of the Regional Health Office (RHO) to oversee a range of community/residents engagement and activation activities. The role will also include working closely with our community teams and partners to organise public engagement events to reach out to residents to increase their awareness of and enrolment into our community health and wellness programs.

In particular, the incumbent will develop and execute programs aimed at: * creating top of mind awareness among our residents on the importance of personal health

  • inculcate right health seeking behaviour knowledge among residents
  • build the brand and awareness of Woodlands Health's community assets, e.g. Community Health Posts and Community Health Team, and develop programmes to drive resident traffic volume into the health posts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Specific
  • To execute our Community Relations and Outreach Plan to engage our residents in understanding the importance of health and wellness and activating them to take steps towards caring for their health. This will also include incorporating regional or national health promotion programs that are being rolled out.
  • Plan and execute health program through campaigns, road shows and product/service launches to residents and community organisations.
  • Through engagement activities, to understand the needs of the community as well as identify strengths and assets in the community. This will enable our community teams to continuously modify our programmes to the needs of the residents as well as harness the strengths of the community to improve our communal capability.
  • Working closely with Corporate Communications in developing communications materials (for both traditional and online media) and tracking the effectiveness of the communication outreach.
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement community-based health activation programmes not limited to operationalisation, review and evaluation
  • Support RHO Programme leads in community-based programme design, development and implementation based on local community needs, strengths and assets;
  • Manage approved budgets for the publicity events and programmes including timely submission of claims and delivery of reports.
General
  • Provide administrative support and prepare regular progress report as required.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as and when assigned/required.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a recognised degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Behavioural Science or related field with 0-4 years for Executive of working experience preferred.
  • Possess a recognised degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Behavioural Science or related field with 4-6years for Executive of working experience preferred.
  • Prior working experience in community, healthcare or social services setting and ability to connect and engage residents from varying age groups will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and project management skills in managing multiple stakeholders towards a common purpose.
  • Experience in execution of publicity campaigns, road shows and public events for programme/product launches. This includes experience in developing collaterals to increase awareness and build product/service loyalty.
  • Proficient in full suite of Microsoft Office tools - Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Possess excellent communication (spoken and written), interpersonal and co-ordination skills.
  • Possess a positive, proactive working attitude and manage various tasks/projects concurrently with specific timelines.
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment both independently and as a team player, yet is organised and meticulous.
  • Able to track multiple ongoing projects meticulously, and to meet tight deadlines while remaining flexible and adaptable.
