Job Description

We are working with a leading bank to look for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer, someone with experience in SoC and ideally has worked in banking environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Security team in overseeing and managing Cyber Security Management functions.
• Identifying and analyzing potential cyber security risks and vulnerabilities within systems, applications, and technology infrastructure.
• Developing and enforcing security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Regularly conducting security assessments and audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
• Operating and maintaining the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) for incident response and management.
• Managing projects related to cyber security protection and monitoring in the role of a project manager.
• Maintaining cyber security protection and monitoring systems, including EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), EDP (Endpoint Data Protection), IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), Cyberark, and Splunk.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of technology experience, with a preference for banking industry experience.
• Preferred certifications: CISSP or CISA.
• Knowledge and experience with cybersecurity tools is advantageous.
• Previous experience in Cyber Security Operations is preferred.
• Expertise in analyzing security risks, establishing security posture frameworks, and planning cybersecurity training is a plus.
• Strong risk assessment skills and the ability to build consensus among stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English at a business level is essential for effective communication, reading, understanding, responding, and presenting to stakeholders and leaders.
