Singapore Polytechnic's Professional and Adult Continuing Education Academy (PACE) is a leading CET academy that offers a variety of relevant courses for adult learners to enhance their employability. The appointee will be PACE’s main person in charge of technical support, e.g. manage lab and hardware/software assets, projects, vendors, PACE website, Learning Management Systems (ePACE and POLITE Mall) and all other tech-related matters.
What you will be working on
Responsibilities • Manage Labs hardware/software assets and all other tech-related matters. • Work closely with the project team to do proactive project management, manage project documentation and analysis to streamline current processes • Function as a Web Master to all internal stakeholders and support web enhancement projects • Provide support to internal stakeholders for Learning Management Systems (ePACE and POLITE Mall) and IT-related issues/requests • Create self-help guides on IT operations • Maintain the inventory list for all IT equipment and raise requisition orders on behalf of the department • Carry out annual review of the IT inventory and support QA audits on IT assets
What we are looking for
Requirements • Relevant qualifications in Computer Science/Information Technology and related discipline • Possess strong project management skills, technical and analytical skills • Proficient in HTML/CSS, XML, JavaScript and Adobe Photoshop/illustrator software • Independent individual with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills • Ability to work in a fast paced changing environment • Due to the nature of the job, appointee might be asked to support IT System and PACE’s events on weekends occasionally • Knowledge in website management tools (such as Site Infinity) and Learning Management Systems would be an added advantage Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract for first instance.
