Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive quality assurance testing
• Work with other engineering team members in an Agile approach to analyze project requirements to increase efficiency in testing deliverables and decrease the risk
• Suggest improvements to functionality, design, and usability of new features
• Cultivate, maintain, and improve QA testing as an SME across different products and platform
• Identify test scenarios, write and execute detailed test cases, develop and execute manual smoke, functional integration, and regression test
• Evaluate and test change requests to determine that the software meets the defined requirements
• Work collaboratively within a high-performance team to clarify and test business/functional requirements and effectively deal with issues as they arise
• Conduct program and template testing using exploratory functional test cases, and regression models
• Responsible for defect tracking, communication, and resolution throughout the software testing life cycle

Required Experience

• At least 5+ years of working experience and a solid understanding of QA concepts, best practices, processes, and tools

A Successful Candidate Must Have

• Well-developed technical testing skills, i.e. hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, mobile testing, big data testing, cross-platform testing, component testing, security testing, performance testing, UI/UX testing, and A/B testing
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with business and technical staff and work effectively in a team environment during the testing process
• Experience testing enterprise-level software systems (Desktop, Web, and Mobile)
• Experience with SDLC and methodologies like Agile and Scrum
