Responsibilities:

• Do weekly reporting of entire sales pipeline (total contract value, margin, RFS etc)
• Responsible for supporting the sales opportunity qualification and pursuit process.
• Collaborate with Sales to engage customers at the presales stage to understand and establish the technical requirements. Responsible for qualifying the sales opportunity to ascertain whether it\'s worthwhile to pursue.
• Provide feedback to the Product team on changes in the market or customer expectations so that the product offering can be aligned to market.
• Contribute and value-add to the smooth closure and delivery of the opportunity by working together with the relevant teams such as service delivery, operations, facilities to ensure correct requirements and scope is shared. Help to facilitate customer MSA by Legal by providing inputs on technical areas such as SOW and SLA committed.
• Ensure compliance with the proper governance and processes where applicable. For eg, proper pricing escalation process followed.
• Provide hands-on technical expertise to prospects and customers in the evaluation and implementation of service product
• Responsible to check that any submitted solutions are sound, fit for purpose, deliverable and will meet offered SLAs.
• Have a keen sense of the correct solution and pricing to propose to the customer to ensure competitiveness while at the same time keeping a healthy margin level. Exercise a good level of creativity in the proposed solution to meet commercial and technical requirements.
• Source for suppliers, third party providers for ad hoc managed services. Work out pricing and margin to apply on top of vendor costs.
• Keep abreast with new technology trends and adopt new technology to enhance design and solution proposition to existing and new businesses. Keep abreast with demand trends to ensure solution designs are relevant and competitive
• Collaborate with bid/sales and help provide support in response to RFPs on technical proposal and pricing. Analyse, summarize customer requirements and prepare proposal on technical solutions and pricing
• Review and quality assure the input costs and pricing commercials of a client offer to be correct and prepared in accordance with the client\'s requested consumption model. Collaborate with the Sales team on positioning those commercials and demonstrating value to a client.
• Attend Customers clarifications and assess queries from customers and propose alternative and viable business solutions to meet customers\' requirements

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in a data centre operator or System Integrator environment.
• Demonstrable track record and experience in a pre-sales and or consulting field.
• Working level understanding of MEP design and data centre delivery processes (e.g commissioning levels)
• Good understanding of data centre competitive and market landscape (especially Singapore and Indonesia)
• Has the ability to adopt big picture thinking and balance interests of different stakeholders in favour of what is important for the business
• Understanding of trends in data centre industry.
• Good working level of technical understanding of data centre
• Displayed proven track record of working with various stakeholders to deliver data centre projects/products
• Willing to travel approximately 30% of the time if required
