Job Description
What the role is:Senior/Technical Executive (Technical & Infrastructure Support / School of Applied Science)What you will be working on:
- To provide technical support for practical sessions such as equipment set-up, material preparation and housekeeping after each lab session. \xe2\x80\xa2 To teach/ co-teach the practical classes and practical skillsets assessments \xe2\x80\xa2 To supervise student projects and other student engagement activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist and carry out industry and consultancy projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist school TWSH work group for lab safety, audit, license control, chemical control and safety awareness \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist in workday procurement requisition, asset tagging and checking, and budget monitoring and other acad admin duties. Procurement of materials and equipment for teaching and assigned projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 To maintain and up-keep laboratories.
- Qualification in chemical engineering, life sciences, food sciences or related fields \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in laboratory management, analytical instruments and testing laboratory would be an advantage. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willing to learn and able to take multiple tasks \xe2\x80\xa2 Good communication and interpersonal skills
