:Service Engineer, Clean Factory AutomationLocation: EastSalary Range: Up to $3,600SUMMARYThe Service Engineer of the Clean Factory Automation department will be primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our cleanroom automated material handling systems (AMHS) and will be reporting to the project site for most of his/her working hours. The Service Engineer is required to be skilled in adjustment work and troubleshooting of equipment involving mechanical parts, optical sensor equipment, and components inside industrial control boxes and panels.Aside from the technical requirements, the Service Engineer is also required to provide technical support to our customers, giving good explanations and advice in relation to any equipment troubles. The Service Engineer also needs to give instructions to contractors and supervise the work carried out from time to time.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, test, and calibrate our AMHS equipment in the initial phase of a project.
• Carry out regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance after the initial phase of the project.
• Perform troubleshooting and recovery tasks to minimize the downtime of our AMHS.
• Conduct on-the-job training to new and junior members when required.
• Draft service and maintenance reports for both submission to customers and for internal quality control.
• Liaise with customers to arrange schedules for jobs and to update customers on work progress.
• Supervise work done by sub-contractors for installation and mechanical modifications.
• Coordinate with company logistics support staff on matters of parts ordering and delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• Polytechnic Diploma or Bachelors Degree in an engineering related field.
• At least 2 years of good experience in mechanical / electrical engineering intensive roles.

PREFERRED QUALITIES

• Able to work in cleanroom environments and overtime hours.
• A team player with positive work attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Ability to grasp current work situation and plan work ahead of time in order to keep pace with schedule.
• Experience in cleanrooms or AMHS equipment is a huge plus.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Be on 24-hour rotated standby for possible equipment breakdowns at customer sites.
